Analytics & leads

See which step loses your buyers.

Every load counts as an impression. After that Peutly records the steps that were viewed, the calls to action that were clicked and the demos that were finished, and charts the drop-off across your chapters.

Example data for a fictional demo.

Before Peutly

You know it was opened.

  • You know the demo was opened. You have no idea how far anyone got.
  • The step where people leave is a guess, so the rewrite is a guess too.
  • A form on the last card only hears from the people who already stayed.
  • Nothing reaches the rest of your stack unless somebody exports a file.

With Peutly

You know where it stopped.

  • A funnel over your real steps, named after your own chapters.
  • The step that loses viewers is the step you open in the editor.
  • Ask for the email at the step where interest actually peaks.
  • Four events posted to your endpoint, with retries and a delivery log.

  • Per demo, per day

Impressions, engagements, completions and both rates, split per demo and charted day by day.

  • Period against period

Every number carries its change against the previous period of the same length.

Leads at the step where interest peaks.

Ask for the email at step three, not only on the end card. Repeat submits inside one session are deduped.

  • Lead capture at any step

A form inside the demo, at the step you choose.

  • Every submission in one place

Leads land in Peutly, with the demo they came from.

  • Events out to your stack

Your own Google Analytics, Segment or Heap key in the player, plus four webhook events posted to your endpoint.

Know who came back, and how far they got.

People who submit a form are joined across their sessions: demos touched, completions, last seen. Everyone else stays anonymous.

  • Identified viewers

Demos touched, completions and last seen, joined across sessions.

  • Progress per session

See how far a viewer got each time they opened the demo.

  • Anonymous until they tell you

Viewers who have not submitted a form stay anonymous.

What gets counted

Three events, counted once per session.

A step was viewed, a call to action was clicked, the demo was finished. Each one counts at most once per session, so a viewer who clicks back through your flow never inflates the number. When somebody submits a form, that lead can post straight to your own endpoint.
