We build the demo tool we kept wishing we had.
Peutly is a small, founder-run company in Europe. We are early, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. What is on this site is what the product does today.
Buyers do not want to be sold to. They want to click around.
The best moment in any sales process we have sat through was the one where the buyer stopped listening and started clicking. Everything before it, the brochure page, the gated webinar, the forty-minute call, was a tax we paid to get there.
Getting buyers into the product was the hard part. Real environments break. Demo data goes stale. Somebody renames a button and the walkthrough is quietly wrong. So we kept rebuilding the same flow by hand, with screenshots, and hoping nobody asked to try it themselves.
Peutly captures the real HTML of your product with a Chrome extension. Every click becomes a step. You rewrite the text and swap the images inside that captured UI, add annotations and narration, and publish it as a link, an embed, a collection or a video file. It is your product, without the staging environment in the critical path.
That is the whole thesis. Everything we build is a refinement of it.
Four things we will not compromise on
These are not aspirational values written for a careers page. They are the arguments we have most weeks, written down so we can hold ourselves to them.
Buyer-first, always
We build for the person clicking through the demo, not the person who licensed the software. If a feature makes the viewer experience worse, it does not ship, no matter how much it would help us upsell.
Honest pricing, no surprises
We dislike seat-based pricing because it punishes you for inviting your team. Every plan includes unlimited users. We post our prices publicly and we will never let a renewal silently jump.
Boring infrastructure, exciting product
We run on the most reliable, well-understood stack we know, so the surprises live inside the product, not in your incident channel.
Ship small, ship often
We push changes as soon as they are ready. No quarterly roadmap theatre, just steady, opinionated improvement.
Founder-run, founder-supported
We are a small team. When you email us, you get one of us. When you file a bug, one of us reads it. We will grow carefully, and we will not put a ticket queue between you and the people who built the thing.
Runs Peutly day to day and answers most of the email. Started it after one too many demos that only worked if nobody clicked the wrong button.
Will Peutly be around in two years?
A fair question to ask a small company. Here are the facts, and what you keep if we are ever not.
- Based
- In the Netherlands. Our terms are governed by Dutch law.
- Team
- Founder-run, led by Can Yucel.
- How it is funded
- Revenue comes from paid subscriptions on public prices, billed through Stripe.
- How it is run
- On AWS in Frankfurt (EU), with a managed database. We keep the stack deliberately boring so a small team can run it reliably.
- Your data, portable
- Export any demo as an MP4 or WebM video (optionally with narration) or as a GIF, download your leads as CSV from the dashboard, and stream leads and engagement events to your own systems with webhooks. The interactive HTML demo itself cannot be exported.
We answer our own email.
